Zack has been in Africa now for just over a month! And just as HE promised, Zack is doing well. He seems so content and peaceful.

In fact, the only time Zack has even mentioned coming home early, was when he learned that his friend, Cody, was killed in a car accident. But realizing that there is nothing he can do for his friend, Zack decided to stay.

God is busy at work with Zack. The people of Africa are ministering and providing witness to Gods amazing grace. God is using them, to tenderize his broken heart.

The mission field can be a place of deep healing. It pulls back the layers of life and exposes our existence for its true purpose. A life to be lived, loved, fought and WON in Jesus name!

  1. Tracy--I love those last 3 sentences. I have never been on a mission trip like Zack is on, but I can only imagine what he is experiencing is changing his heart. I have loved following his trip and have shared the pictures with my two sons, too. (We even wrote and put together a package for our sponsored children--which I'm not the best at being consistent with!)

  3. I am not real sure how I stumbled on your blog, but I just came back from Africa and I served in the first trip with Zach. He is such a sweet young man. God is doing great things in Him. I will be praying for you all. I will also be praying in advance for him as he returns home to our American reality and as he processes all that was placed in front of him in ET. Lots of love, LeAnne
